Today marked the passing of the century's longest solar eclipse. It was supposed to be a half eclipse for us in Malaysia between 8.30ish to 9.45 in the morning. Mama noticed it was darker than normal but the effect wasn't as big as mama expected. News said effect was diluted partly due to haze. Though today was cooler than normal. It was at only 27C at 6.30pm. When normally it would hit around 32-34C.
This little pretty bird and its partner shared the eclipse with mama outside on the balcony. they were chirping loudly away and hopping here and there between the 2 fu-kui hua and flying this way and that. But soon as mama whipped out 350D, they flew off as if they could sense mama was not playing fair on the other side of the black tinted glass :) well they sure were making a lot of noise while mama was trying to concentrate in another bla-bla-bla meeting just 15 feet away. Well mama just managed to snag this one shot before they flew off...
